Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or related field; 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master’s degree with 3 years experience.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Experience in Python.
• Experience with SmallSats and CubeSats development.
• Hardware Prototype Development, “FlatSat”, “Hardware Integration”, “Hardware in-the-loop” testing.
• Working knowledge of MATLAB for DSP with related toolboxes; background with Radar Processing or Phased Array is a plus.
• Electrical/Systems Engineering focus in communications or digital signal processing.
• Experience with Agile hardware/software/firmware development, DevOps, CI/CD.
• Experience with MBSE/SysML/MagicDraw/Cameo.
• Space Payloads Design/Development or I&T experience.
• Understanding of systems engineering concepts and requirements modeling tools.
• Creative, collaborative, and growth-oriented mindset.
• Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Support space-based systems with DSP algorithms in hardware and software.
• Develop DSP algorithms for statistical analysis of signal measurements.
• Apply techniques from Detection & Estimation Theory and related areas.
