Magi-K in the United States is seeking Somali/Swahili–English Over-the-Phone Interpreters. As an Over-the-Phone Interpreter (OPI), you'll provide consecutive, bidirectional interpretation—helping people communicate clearly and accurately in important conversations.

This is a 100% remote freelance contract with monthly payments in USD. A fast onboarding process and a supportive, growing international team await you.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English at least C1 level.
• Proficiency in Somali or Swahili for interpretation.
• Stable and fast internet connection.
• Computer with camera, headset, and microphone.

Responsibilities

• Provide consecutive, bidirectional interpretation over the phone.
• Assist clients in important conversations with accuracy and clarity.
