Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a Solutions Design Manager, Warehousing & Logistics, to join our Global Solutions Design team. The role focuses on architecting high-impact contract logistics and warehousing solutions that bridge client vision with operational reality.

You will transform complex data into efficient designs, layout models, and commercial strategies, shaping the standard for our supply chain execution.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in a solutions design role within contract logistics, warehousing, or a related industry.
• Strong knowledge of Contract Logistics Cost Models (MOST or MTM).
• Proficiency with design tools such as AutoCAD, simulation software, or optimization models.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop tailored logistics designs by partnering with Business Development to build scalable warehousing, equipment, and cost models for dedicated and shared site operations.
• Optimize layouts and workflows by analyzing client data, process maps, and labor productivity using AutoCAD to maximize efficiency.
• Support project transitions by guiding designs from concept to steady-state operations with Project Management.
• Build financial feasibility models, including cost-benefit analyses, risk assessments, and pricing proposals.
• Lead technical client presentations and adjust solutions based on strategic feedback.
