Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC, via WECTEC Staffing Services, is seeking a Project Engineer-Solar for a 1-year contract in Florida. Remote work is acceptable, with periodic travel to the Juno Beach office.

You will support solar farm design and construction, manage 3rd party contractor teams, and coordinate with environmental, procurement, transmission, and project managers from concept through commissioning.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum - Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience.
• Engineering and project management experience on utility scale solar projects is preferred.
• Engineering and project management in related power/energy sectors may be considered

Responsibilities

• Use value engineering to balance reliability, cost and performance for solar systems.
• Coordinate project teams (environmental, procurement, transmission, PMs) from concept to commissioning.
• Manage schedules and budgets for major solar capital projects.
