Job summary

Lawelawe Defense Inc. is seeking an intermediate remote Software Tester to support the U.S. Army Human Resources Command at Fort Knox, KY.

You will oversee quality control activities, develop test plans, perform exploratory testing, and execute functional and regression tests alongside developers and product management. The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of testing experience, active Secret clearance, and proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• Active Secret clearance.
• Must be US Citizen.
• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Aptitude for testing software with attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, C#, Java, NodeJS and Angular.
• Experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Playwright.
• Ability to write detailed test descriptions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough software testing, analyze data, and communicate results to developers.
• Check software functionality across browsers to ensure users’ needs are met.
• Communicate testing results to stakeholders and suggest improvements.
• Collaborate with developers and product management to ensure readiness for release.
• Execute test cases and automated tests based on specifications and requirements.
• Perform root cause analysis on defects and mitigate risks.
• Conduct exploratory and usability testing to locate bugs before production.
• Ensure all features function as designed and intended.
• Contribute to SOPs and continuous improvement of testing methodologies.
