Job summary

Qualifications

• Enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program during the internship period.
• Interest in continually improving engineering skills and curiosity.
• Appreciation for quality in personal work and teamwork.
• Clear written and verbal communication, including explaining technical decisions.
• Backend/Full-stack candidates: experience with Haskell or motivation to learn it, plus familiarity with SQL.
• Frontend/Full-stack candidates: experience with TypeScript; React is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Learn from experienced engineers while writing production code and contributing to meaningful product work.
• Backend interns may build data-informed features, services for web and mobile experiences, operational tools, and third-party API integrations.
• Frontend interns may develop polished user interfaces, improve application performance, and deliver new product pages and features.
• Full-stack interns may combine backend, frontend, and database work across the areas described above.
• Collaborate with designers, analysts, and engineers, communicate technical reasoning clearly, and contribute ideas to improve the product.
• Apply strong attention to quality while working in established codebases with room for growth.
