Job summary

5 Stones Group is seeking a Software Engineer I to join our mission-driven team in Sycamore, IL. You will collaborate with designers, marketers, and clients to deliver websites, applications, and integrations that empower Catholic apostolates.

You’ll work on distributed systems, coding and testing new features, and delivering reliable technical solutions while aligning with our values. Ideal candidates have 0–3 years of experience, a computer science background, and familiarity with modern JS

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred but not required if the applicant has the necessary skills.
0-3 years of experience in software development or related field.
Proficiency with Typescript, React, RESTful and GraphQL APIs, SQL and NoSQL databases, Docker, Terraform, and traditional MVC frameworks.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with clients, account managers, project managers, marketers, and designers to build websites, applications, integrations, and other tech to power client missions.
Communicate with clients regularly with warmth and competence to provide sound and innovative technical solutions.
Integrate and optimize distributed systems and ensure robust, scalable solutions.
