Job summary

SitusAMC is seeking an accomplished software leader to guide a development team across front and back-end work. You will shape architecture, review code, and mentor engineers while collaborating with product and business stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable software.

The role requires a strong AVP-level background, 8+ years in software development, and expertise in C#, SQL, .NET, AWS, and microservices. Remote-friendly with a competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent.
• 8+ years of industry/relevant experience, 2+ years in AVP or equivalent.
• 7+ years in software development preferred.
• Strong grasp of OOP and relational databases.
• 2+ years as a people manager.
• Expert in C# and SQL with .NET Framework expertise.
• Experience with microservices, AWS, Kubernetes, and ADO.
• Experience with MySQL and DocumentDB; AI tools like Claude/Cursor.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; Agile and DevOps.
• Ability to learn new technologies as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a software development team for core product features.
• Collaborate with analysts, stakeholders, and support to translate needs.
• Oversee design, code quality, release readiness, and production support.
• Evaluate new tools and frameworks to boost capability and efficiency.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership including code reviews and mentoring.
• Mentor direct reports with regular feedback and career development.
• Plan workload, remove blockers, and ensure timely delivery.
