Job summary

SHI is seeking a forward-thinking Software Architect to lead the ongoing architecture and evolution of our eCommerce platform. This remote role requires deep hands-on experience in designing, scaling, and optimizing complex systems to ensure robustness, security, and innovation.

You will mentor engineers, set technical standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions while driving architectural roadmaps and platform improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience required.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years in DevOps practices.
• 5+ years with C#, React, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end architecture for SHI’s eCommerce platform.
• Set engineering standards and design patterns.
• Collaborate with product managers and security to translate requirements.
• Mentor engineers and architects across teams.
• Lead the architectural roadmap balancing debt and innovation.
• Guide cloud adoption, CI/CD, observability, and cost efficiency.
