Job summary

SHI is seeking a forward-thinking Software Architect to lead the ongoing architecture and evolution of our eCommerce platform. You will set architectural vision, drive technical excellence, mentor engineers, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure a robust, scalable, secure platform.

This remote role requires deep experience in C# and .NET, cloud-native design, and a track record of delivering high-quality software in an eCommerce context.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years with DevOps methodologies.
• 5+ years with C#, React, JavaScript, SQL.
• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end architecture for SHI’s eCommerce platform, ensuring scalability, security, and great customer experience.
• Set and champion engineering standards, design patterns, and architectural best practices.
• Lead design and development for cloud-native solutions on Azure and AWS.
• Mentor engineers and architects, and drive architectural reviews across teams.
• Develop and refine the architectural roadmap balancing debt, innovation, and delivery.
