Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Remote Snowflake Certified Architect / Senior Developer for a 24+ month engagement. The role requires designing scalable Snowflake data warehouses, migrating and modeling data, and delivering ELT/ML pipelines across AWS/Azure/GCP.

You will lead migrations, optimize performance, collaborate with data science teams to operationalize ML use cases, implement MLOps, and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Snowflake Architect certification is required.
• 10+ years in Data Engineering / DW development.
• 7+ years hands-on Snowflake experience.
• Strong SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Python for data processing and ML development.
• Cloud experience: AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Experience with ELT frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps tools.
• Machine learning knowledge: feature engineering, training, deployment.
• Experience with data loading tools: Spark, Glue, Kafka, DBT.
• Strong governance, metadata management, and security awareness.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement scalable data warehouse solutions using Snowflake
• Lead end-to-end Snowflake migrations, data modeling (Star/Snowflake Schema), and ELT/ETL pipelines
• Develop and optimize Snowflake features including Snowpipe, Streams & Tasks, Data Sharing, and Time Travel
• Build and operationalize machine learning models using Python, SQL, and cloud-native ML services (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Implement MLOps workflows for automated model training, deployment, versioning, and monitoring
• Integrate Snowflake with data engineering and analytics tools such as dbt, Airflow, Kafka, FiveTran, Informatica, etc.
• Ensure data security, governance, and compliance following best practices (RBAC, masking, encryption)
• Performance tuning of Snowflake warehouses, storage costs, clustering, materialized views
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business, data engineering, and data science
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architectural standards and best practices

JD: We are seeking a Snowflake Certified Architect / Senior Developer with deep experience in data warehousing, cloud data platforms, and machine learning implementation. The ideal candidate will design scalable Snowflake architecture, optimize performance, and collaborate with data science teams to operationalize ML use cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement scalable data warehouse solutions using Snowflake
