Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience operating logging machines, preference for skidders.
  • Willingness to travel for deployments and work overtime.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to sit for long durations and maintain sound situational awareness.
  • Machine troubleshooting and repair knowledge.
  • Willingness to work extended work shifts with advanced notice.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background checks.
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License.

Responsibilities

  • Remotely control skidder on commercial operations.
  • Provide user feedback on remote logging machine operation.
  • Coordinate with Kodama team to maintain machinery and develop the remote control system.
  • Operate machine during engineering development windows outside production shifts.
  • Follow company work orders and safety protocols.
  • Field support and machine maintenance as needed or per schedule.
  • Contribute to cross-team initiatives such as customer outreach and data tracking.
