Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies seeks an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to ensure availability, performance, and reliability of large-scale distributed systems in production. The SRE will apply software engineering to infrastructure, embedding reliability as a first-class engineering deliverable.

This full-time, remote role requires 5+ years, strong programming in Python/Go/Java, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and solid Linux expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Five or more years of SRE/DevOps or production engineering experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Java.

Responsibilities

• Define and refine SLOs/SLIs and error budgets for critical services.
• Lead incident response and post-incident reviews.
• Design and implement monitoring and tracing with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK/EFK, Datadog.
• Architect and operate large-scale Kubernetes clusters and CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate operational toil with production-grade tooling.
