Job summary

SOLV Energy seeks an experienced Site Quality Manager to lead QA/QC for utility-scale solar, storage, and substation projects. You will implement the Site-Specific Quality Plan, supervise inspection teams, and act as the primary QA liaison with clients, subs, and regulators.

You will travel to remote sites, drive continuous improvement, manage NCRs and CAPA, and ensure compliance with NEC/IEC/ASTM, ITPs, and QMS standards.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years in utility-scale solar quality management.
  • Certifications in quality management (e.g., ASQ) and OSHA 10/30 are highly desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of utility-scale PV systems, civil construction, electrical/mechanical codes, and QA/QC methodologies.
  • Experience with project management software (Procore, Primavera P6) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing the Site-Specific Quality Plan (SSQP).
  • Develop and manage the Inspection Test Plan (ITP) for the project.
  • Enforce the Quality Management System (QMS) standards across projects.
  • Conduct inspections per ITP/SSQP and contract requirements.
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Maintain QA/QC documentation and regular quality metrics reports.
  • Review subcontractor QA plans and verify material/equipment compliance.
  • Facilitate lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, manufacturer instructions, codes and regulations.
