Job summary

AuriaTrack seeks a creative Video Editor to turn raw footage into short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. You will edit footage shot by our team and freelancers, delivering ad-ready videos and engaging reels to boost bookings for clients.

The role requires strong storytelling in short-form formats, proficiency in Final Cut Pro or alternatives, and comfort on Mac. Remote flexibility with hybrid options in Wilmington, NC is available.

Qualifications

• Proven video editing experience with a strong short-form portfolio.
• Proficiency in Final Cut Pro or Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience editing on a Mac and color/audio fundamentals.
• Familiarity with social media formats and platform specs.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, engaging videos using Final Cut Pro.
• Cut short-form vertical video (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) and ad-ready versions.
• Add captions, titles, transitions, and motion graphics where needed.
• Perform color correction and grading for consistency with each client.
• Handle audio editing: clean dialogue, balance levels, and add music/sfx.
• Collaborate with team, videographers, and designers to turn outlines into finished videos.
• Keep files organized, versioned, and delivered on schedule across projects.
• Create A/B variations of hooks and intros for ad testing.
• Serve as backup for graphic design and photo editing (thumbnails, social graphics).
