Job summary

CTG is seeking a remote contractor to develop scalable, API-driven commerce applications using SFCC, PWA Kit, React, and JavaScript. You will build headless storefronts with SSR, optimize performance, and implement advanced SEO strategies for AI-powered discovery.

You will collaborate with architecture, UX, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver secure, high-performing solutions and troubleshoot issues across devices and channels. Excellent English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable, API-driven commerce applications using SFCC, PWA Kit, React, and JavaScript.
• Build and optimize headless storefronts using server-side rendering (SSR) and modern web development practices.
• Implement technical SEO, AEO, and GEO strategies to improve visibility across traditional search engines and AI-powered discovery platforms.
• Manage structured data, Schema.org markup, metadata, canonical URLs, hreflang, sitemaps, robots.txt, redirects, and SEO-friendly URLs.
• Optimize Core Web Vitals, page performance, crawlability, indexability, accessibility, and responsive user experiences.
• Integrate third-party APIs and commerce services, including product catalogs, pricing, promotions, cart, checkout, and order management.
• Collaborate with architecture, UX, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver secure, high-performing commerce solutions.
• Troubleshoot issues and continuously improve storefront performance and customer experience across devices and channels.
