Blacksmith Agency is scaling its marketing division to lead PPC, SEO, and conversion optimization for a growing client portfolio across multifamily, B2B and technical verticals.

As SEO Manager you will own strategy, performance and client-facing leadership across paid search, paid social, SEO and CRO. You’ll join sales calls to shape scope, oversee internal and external specialists, build roadmaps and ensure campaigns deliver measurable outcomes and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years in PPC/SEO or multi-channel strategy.
• Experience running paid and organic channels together.
• Expertise with Google Ads, GA4, GSC and research tools.
• Ability to articulate strategic recommendations to clients.
• Track record overseeing execution teams and quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy for all PPC and SEO clients across industries.
• Join sales calls to validate scope and pitch recommendations.
• Build 90 day, 6 month and annual growth roadmaps for clients.
• Own client performance across Google Ads, Meta, Microsoft and organic search.
• Audit PPC campaigns, bidding, landing pages and CRO opportunities.
• Oversee technical SEO, on-page SEO, link building and AI-driven content.
• Own KPI tracking and analytics accuracy.
• Provide weekly direction and QA, coordinate with marketing PM.
• Present monthly and quarterly performance summaries to clients.
