FNTS is seeking a Senior Mainframe Engineer to join our managed services team. You will maintain customer z/OS environments, perform tape save/restore, software replication, and plan migrations with minimal impact.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of mainframe experience, deep knowledge of z/OS subsystems (JES2, CICS, IMS, DB2), and strong communication skills. This role offers remote work from across the U.S., with a competitive base pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Mainframe Systems Engineer with 10+ years experience.
• Strong z/OS knowledge including JES2, SDSF, TSO, RACF, SMP/E.
• Experience with CICS, IMS, DB2, MQ Series and OS upgrades.

Responsabilités

• Maintain customer z/OS environments and support operations.
• Plan and migrate systems via tape save/restore or software replication.
• Install, configure and maintain ISV products.
• Assist hardware upgrades and configure LPARs using HMC.
• Migrate environments with minimal disruption and write system documentation.
• Support remote/multi-site teams and handle after-hours support.
