Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an experienced Test Engineer, Features for a fully remote role based in the United States. You will own end-to-end quality for new features, translating product intent into executable test coverage and building scalable automation frameworks.

You will work across the operator portal, backend platform, APIs, and endpoint agent, delivering reliable AI-enhanced test scenarios to support release decisions. Ideal for an experienced SDET who thrives on ambiguity and robust quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software testing, SDET, or quality engineering experience across UI, API, and integration testing.
• Experience building a browser-based end-to-end testing framework with CI integration.
• Strong Python and/or TypeScript proficiency.
• Hands-on with Playwright or Selenium, including parallelized test execution.
• Experience with API/contract testing (Pytest, OpenAPI); Postman a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end testing for new features from criteria to gate releases.
• Translate requirements into concrete pass/fail scenarios and gaps in testability.
• Design, build, maintain browser-based E2E testing frameworks and fixtures.
• Develop coverage across operator portal, backend, APIs and endpoint agent.
• Identify upstream integration issues before production.
• Curate automated and AI-generated test scenarios into reliable coverage.
• Balance test pyramid levels for coverage vs speed.
• Monitor testing status and communicate risks.
• Close coverage gaps and improve testing practices.
• Collaborate with distributed teams and promote shared testing frameworks.
