Job summary

Alight Solutions is seeking a Senior Manager of Technology Operations in the United States to lead core infrastructure, automation, and support teams. You will oversee enterprise file transfer systems, workload automation, print fulfillment, and AWS environments, driving vendor management and robust support frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of IT operations experience with 3+ years in a formal leadership role.
• Direct experience managing Control-M, Control-D, and MFT platforms.
• Proven experience managing AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch).
• Experience with data transmission protocols (SFTP, AS2, HTTPS) and high-volume print fulfillment.
• Proven track record of managing high-severity production incidents.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, performance, security, and continuous improvement of MFT, Control-M, Control-D, print fulfillment platforms, and AWS infrastructure.
• Ensure high availability with metrics, SLAs, and system health indicators.
• Direct incident management, disaster recovery and business continuity programs.
• Drive adoption of AI, AIOps, and automation to enhance monitoring and reliability.
• Identify opportunities to use Generative AI and intelligent automation for documentation and support operations.
• Act as trusted advisor to internal stakeholders and clients, aligning tech services with business goals.
• Lead client onboarding and serve as senior escalation point for critical issues.
• Build and manage vendor relationships including selection, renewals, licensing, and performance management.
• Establish 24x7 support capabilities with root-cause analysis and proactive improvements.
• Coach and develop a diverse team of engineers and analysts.
