Boyd Shoker PLLC is a virtual CPA firm offering tax preparation, planning, and year-round support. We seek a Senior Tax Associate based in Washington State to prepare tax returns, communicate with clients, and help keep work moving through tax season. This remote role offers flexible hours and potential to transition to full-time as the firm grows.

You’ll work with experienced CPAs, review source documents, and manage deadlines while maintaining confidentiality in a small, remote team.

Qualificações

• 1+ year of tax preparation experience preferred.
• Experience with Form 1040, 1065, 1120 returns and related schedules.
• Accounting/finance background; relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and PDF editing tools.
• Experience with tax software is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare individual income tax returns (1040 and related schedules).
• Prepare pass-through tax returns (1065 & 1120-S).
• Prepare corporate tax returns (1120 & 1120-F).
• Review source documents for completeness and identify missing information.
• Organize and maintain electronic workpapers and supporting documentation.
• Escalate complex tax issues to senior staff as needed.
