Job summary

Actalent, Inc. seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to lead design teams delivering structural engineering documents. The role requires a PE license in Georgia or South Carolina and strong experience with Revit and BIM 360 on architecturally driven projects.

You will manage staff, coordinate with project architects, and communicate effectively with clients to maintain relationships across education, healthcare, and commercial sectors. The position allows remote work with some onsite collaboration.

Qualifications

BS in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
PE license in GA or SC required.
Experience with Revit and BIM360 on architecturally driven projects.
Experience with education, healthcare, and commercial projects.
Strong written and verbal communication, planning and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Lead a design team on projects to deliver structural engineering construction documents.
Delegate and manage tasks assigned to other team members.
Examine complex building components with attention to detail.
Communicate effectively with clients and retain client relationships.
Progress projects through design, review, and coordination with project architects and other engineers.
Provide feedback and develop staff engineers on technical design and interdisciplinary impacts.
Review construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
Assist with preparation of detailed engineering reports and supporting documents.
