Qualifications

• Requires minimum 12 years of software development experience or 8 years with advanced degree.
• Proficient in Java or Kotlin with backend-leaning full stack experience.
• Strong Spring Boot, Hibernate, RESTful APIs knowledge.
• Kafka basics, streaming and performance tuning.
• Frontend basics: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Cloud Native infra experience with AWS & Kubernetes.
• Microservices architecture with API-first mindset.
• OpenTelemetry experience.
• SQL querying ability.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration and project leadership.
• Strong written and verbal communication; adept at on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver scalable, available production applications in Java and Kotlin.
• Lead architecture discussions and code/design reviews.
• Build and extend backend/frontend features as needed.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead sprint planning.
• Triage on-call incidents and resolve critical issues.
• Drive AI-assisted engineering strategies and modernize workflows.
