Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• 6+ years software engineering experience in semiconductor environments.
• Strong C, C++, and Python programming skills.
• Hands-on experience with EDA, verification, or post-silicon workflows.
• Low-level hardware-software interaction understanding.
• Experience building large-scale compute infrastructure (grid, cloud, HPC).
• Strong scripting and automation skills.
• Experience with data pipelines for design or characterization data.
• Excellent debugging and documentation skills.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and build tooling that accelerates semiconductor design and verification workflows.
• Develop firmware and low-level software interacting with silicon, including drivers.
• Build infra to run large-scale EDA tool execution on compute farms and clouds.
• Develop post-silicon validation tooling and scalable test orchestration.
• Create data pipelines for design, verification, and characterization data.
• Implement debug tooling for hardware bring-up and silicon characterization.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to translate requirements into software designs.
• Optimize software for performance and scalability in compute-intensive workflows.
• Lead architecture and code reviews across software-hardware boundaries.
• Contribute to internal libraries and maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge across the team.
• Evaluate new hardware platforms and toolchains and make recommendations.
