JD Power seeks a Senior Manager to lead Security Engineering & Operations for North America. You will oversee vulnerability management, incident response, threat hunting, and hands-on security engineering. Establish managed vulnerability services, define SLAs, and scale the team from crisis response to proactive threat management.

Role requires deep technical credibility, operational discipline, and strong leadership to drive modernization and sustainable security postures across the org.

Competenze

• 12+ years in security operations, incident response, or security engineering with hands-on depth.
• 7+ years managing security teams of 5+ engineers and coaching.
• Hands-on with SIEM, vulnerability scanning, remediation tracking, and detection rule development.
• Proven track record moving teams from reactive to proactive threat hunting and engineering.
• Experience managing MSSP or managed vulnerability service engagements.
• Strong leadership, focus on sustainability and psychological safety.

Mansioni

• Lead and develop Security Operations Engineers and Senior Security Engineers; build high-performing teams.
• Establish vulnerability management programs with partners; define SLAs and governance.
• Design and maintain incident response procedures, playbooks, escalation paths, and threat intel integration.
• Oversee 24x7 on-call rotation; coordinate with HR/ops to improve sustainability and reduce burnout.
• Transition team from crisis response to strategic engineering and modernization work.
• Develop KPIs for detection, response, and remediation; report to CISO quarterly.
• Lead hands-on security projects including infrastructure hardening and threat hunting.
