Eursap Ltd. in the United States seeks a Senior SAP Technical Architect to lead the Brownfield conversion from ECC to S/4HANA on a remote basis, with a start date of 2 November 2026 and a 14‑month engagement.

The role demands 15+ years of SAP technical experience, deep S/4HANA know‑how, end‑to‑end migration delivery, and proven ability to defend technical decisions to CFOs and executives. Knowledge of SUM/DMO, ATC, Readiness Check, SAP security, Azure, and clean‑core modernization is essential.

Qualifications

15+ years of SAP technical experience with focus on S/4HANA transformations.
Multiple Brownfield conversions delivered end to end.
Experience on heavily customised SAP systems with many localisations.
Proven track record of sign-off on technical design documents with senior stakeholders.
Strong expertise in SUM, DMO and downtime optimisation.
Experience with SAP Readiness Check, Simplification Item Checks, and ATC.
Strong knowledge of S/4HANA, Basis, HANA, ABAP, integrations and Fiori.
Azure experience; security, transport management and release processes.
Knowledge of clean core, custom code modernisation and extensibility framework.
Experience with global SI partners and cross-functional stakeholder management.
Bachelor's or higher degree in computer science, IT, engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

Own technically sound SAP design documents that account for legacy code and custom functionality.
Design for a system with extensive modules, localisations and interfaces.
Show where technical debt sits and how conversion removes it with a risk-reduction case.
Secure sign-off from PMO, architects, ERP director, CFO and implementation partner.
Provide technical basis for change management to explain the conversion to stakeholders.
Define end-to-end technical architecture, migration roadmaps and implementation standards.
Lead technical workstreams across Basis, infrastructure, integrations, ABAP, Fiori and security.
Review and approve solution designs and deployment plans.
Assess ECC integrations with satellite applications; document data flows and risks.
Lead impact assessment across interfaces, middleware, APIs, custom developments.
Coordinate remediation so critical integrations survive go-live.
Lead custom code assessment and remediation; set ABAP adaptation strategy.
Drive SUM/DMO execution: sizing, performance, downtime reduction and cutover.
Govern migration cycles with checkpoints and quality gates.
Design high-availability, scalable Azure landscapes; coordinate with cloud teams.
