Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Senior SAP HANA Engineer to design, build, and optimize HANA-native data models supporting S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and standalone HANA platforms. You will translate complex analytics requirements into performant models and resolve HANA performance issues across the SAP landscape.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of SAP HANA development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with calculation views, CDS views, AMDPs, and SQLScript.
• Solid understanding of HANA architecture, including in-memory storage and parallel execution.
• Hands-on experience with HANA performance tuning tools and methodologies.
• Experience with HANA replication tools (SLT, SDI, SDA).
• Knowledge of HANA security models, including analytic privileges and roles.
• Familiarity with S/4HANA embedded analytics or BW/4HANA modeling.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop performant calculation views, CDS views, AMDPs, and SQLScript procedures for analytical and transactional workloads.
• Translate requirements into optimized HANA data models balancing flexibility and performance.
• Tune complex queries using partitioning, pruning, and parallelization features.
• Lead HANA performance reviews and audits with HANA Studio Plan Visualizer, ST04, ST05, and DBACOCKPIT.
• Implement security models including analytic privileges and roles.
• Design and operate HANA replication using SLT, SDI, SDA.
• Support data tiering with HANA Native Storage Extension and dynamic tiering.
• Build HANA-native apps and procedures for Fiori, BW, and BTP services.
• Lead capacity planning and sizing for HANA systems.
• Collaborate with Basis, ABAP, and analytics teams for clean integration.
• Maintain documentation: architecture, decisions, configuration, runbooks.
