Job summary

Clarivate is seeking a Senior QA Patent Analyst to join the Intellectual Property team. You will review medical device and mechanical patent cases from the USPTO and ensure daily quality control of all outputs through rigorous review of PCT cases.

You should have a mechanical engineering background with 5+ years as a Patent Analyst, plus 2+ years of PCT examination experience, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience as a Patent Analyst or similar role.
• 2+ years of full-time PCT examination experience.
• Must pass USPTO Background check.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
• U.S. citizen or lawfully eligible resident who has resided in the U.S. for the last two years.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily quality control of all outgoing deliverables to the USPTO through consistent review of PCT cases.
• Maintain an AQL-based performance monitoring system for the team.
• Manage performance issues to ensure compliance and quality.
• Communicate quality control needs and revisions to PCT production managers and personnel.
