Job summary

Hudl is seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our North American Sports product team. You will own quality end-to-end across frontend, APIs, and data pipelines, driving automation with Playwright and Python/TypeScript, and mentoring teammates to raise the bar on reliability and performance.

You’ll partner with Engineering, Product, and Design to deliver high-quality software that coaches and analysts rely on to make data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software testing experience across full stack (API, backend, frontend).
• Hands-on automation experience with Playwright and scripting in Python or TypeScript.
• Ability to lead testing initiatives end-to-end and define success criteria.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality initiatives and drive risk-based testing strategies for your squad.
• Test across the stack: UI, APIs, backend services, and data pipelines.
• Automate with intent using Playwright and scripting to create reliable checks.
• Mentor teammates and raise quality standards across the team.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Design to improve delivery quality.
