Job summary

Siemens AG seeks a Senior Product Manager to shape how AI and automation improve the Siemens Asset Management Software organization. You will partner across business lines to turn opportunities into practical AI-enabled solutions and measurable outcomes, building the AI discovery function from scratch.

The role reports to the Head of Product Ownership and Product Enablement, working with AI Engineering to ensure value delivery and organizational readiness for AI investments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in product management or related roles.
• Hands-on AI/automation delivery in production environments.
• Fluent with LLMs, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, and AI evaluation.
• Able to translate ambiguous internal needs into scoped problem statements with measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the internal discovery function across SI AMS to surface, validate, and prioritize AI automation opportunities.
• Write clear problem statements with baselines and success criteria before engineering work begins.
• Assess AI feasibility and data availability to determine investment in engineering.
• Map and redesign workflows to define AI, automation, and human roles and escalation paths.
• Own the roadmap, sequence work by business outcomes, and make prioritization calls.
• Build prototypes and run prompt/context testing to generate evidence for what to build or stop.
• Track post-launch outcomes and ensure follow-up when adoption targets are missed.
