Job summary

Selective Insurance seeks a Premium Auditor/Sr. Premium Auditor for the Mid-Atlantic region, working remotely with significant travel. The role audits Property/Casualty Commercial Line policies, ensuring accurate premiums and appropriate classifications in line with regulations.

You will coordinate with underwriting and manage complex audits. Ideal candidates have a college degree in a related field and 3+ years of Premium Auditing experience, plus APA 91/92 desirable.

Qualifications

• College degree in Insurance, Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred.
• 3+ years' experience as a physical Premium Auditor.
• Association in Premium Auditing (APA 91/92) is desired.

Responsibilities

• Manage, schedule and conduct physical/virtual audits for Commercial Lines policies.
• Travel within territory; 70–80% of time on automobile travel.
• Notify underwriting of changes in exposures, business operations, products/services, classifications, and locations.
• Respond to and resolve audit disputes; prepare amended audits for billing.
• Serve as a resource and mentor for Premium Auditors.
