Job summary

PharMerica is seeking a Principal Pharmacy Professional Practice Leader to provide strategic leadership, oversight, and subject matter expertise for enterprise pharmacy professional practice initiatives, regulatory compliance programs, and licensing support.

The role partners with Pharmacy Operations, Compliance, Legal, Quality, Risk Management, HR, and IT to ensure adherence to state and federal laws and DEA requirements across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of pharmacy experience with PMPP and regulatory exposure.
• Experience leading enterprise initiatives without direct supervisory authority.
• Licensure as pharmacist or relevant healthcare law expertise preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves as enterprise SME for pharmacy practice standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provides strategic guidance on regulatory changes and risk mitigation.
• Leads enterprise PMP compliance program across jurisdictions.
• Develops policies and ensures timely audit readiness.
• Collaborates with Compliance, Legal, Quality, and Operations teams.
