Kforce Inc in California is seeking a senior engineer to design and deliver production-grade applications on Palantir Foundry. You will model business entities, automate workflows, and build stakeholder-facing analytics tools using React and TypeScript.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders, translate requirements into scalable architectures, and mentor engineers while delivering AI-enabled decision-support capabilities across enterprise data platforms.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software/data/analytics/engineering roles.
• 5+ years delivering production applications or data products.
• 1+ years developing applications with React and TypeScript.
• Strong experience with Palantir Foundry and Ontology modeling.
• Experience delivering AI-enabled/workflow automation and decision-support tools.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business and operational stakeholders to solve complex business challenges
• Identify opportunities to improve outcomes through ontology-driven applications, workflow automation, data products, and AI-enabled solutions
• Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions and architectures
• Lead the design, development, deployment, and support of business-critical applications
• Own complex initiatives from discovery through production adoption
• Build and maintain applications using Palantir Foundry, Palantir Ontology, React, and TypeScript
• Design ontology models for business entities, relationships, workflows, permissions, and decision-making processes
• Develop stakeholder-facing applications that support analysis, decision-making, and operational workflows
• Implement business logic, workflow automation, and decision-support capabilities
• Create reusable application components, frameworks, and solution patterns
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, intuitive, and aligned with business objectives
• Deliver governed data products supporting analytics, AI, machine learning, and decision intelligence initiatives
• Integrate insights directly into operational workflows and user experiences
• Design and implement integrations across enterprise applications, operational systems, and third-party platforms
• Develop pipelines, APIs, transformation logic, and operational data services
• Maintain technical, architectural, operational documentation
• Support modernization efforts through reusable architecture and engineering standards
• Ensure solutions meet security, governance, compliance, auditability, and resilience requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, analytics engineering, platform engineering, or related technical fields
• 5+ years of experience delivering production applications, enterprise data products, or analytical solutions
• 1+ years of professional experience developing applications with React and TypeScript
• Strong experience developing applications within Palantir Foundry
• Expertise using the Palantir Ontology to model business entities, relationships, workflows, actions, and operational processes
• Experience delivering decision-support solutions, operational applications, workflow automation, or AI-enabled capabilities
• Strong understanding of enterprise software delivery, application architecture, integration design, and production support
• Experience gathering requirements directly from stakeholders and translating business objectives into technical solutions
• Experience mentoring engineers and influencing engineering standards and solution quality

Ideal Candidate

• Background as a Palantir Forward Deployed Engineer, Foundry Application Engineer, Decision Intelligence Engineer, Solution Engineer, or similar

Must Have Previously

• Built production applications on Palantir Foundry
• Designed and maintained Palantir Ontology models
• Developed business-facing applications using React and TypeScript
• Worked directly with business stakeholders to solve operational challenges
• Delivered AI-enabled workflows, decision-support tools, and enterprise data products
• Owned solutions from discovery and prototyping through deployment and adoption
• Mentored engineers while remaining a hands-on technical contributor

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
