Job summary

Valon is seeking an experienced Senior Security Engineer, Threat & Offensive Security to join our security team and help scale adversarial testing across our AI-native platform ValonOS. Based in the US with remote work options, you will lead testing, threat intel, incident response, and collaboration with Engineering and Product to tighten defenses as we grow.

You'll bring 5+ years in security engineering or red team, hands-on tool experience (Burp, Metasploit, Nmap, Cobalt Strike), and a strong

• Minimum 5 years in security engineering, penetration testing, threat intelligence, or related roles.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, InfoSec, or related field.
• Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, OSCP).
• Knowledge of cloud security and security testing tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security testing across applications, infrastructure, and networks.
• Manage testing tools to simulate real-world attacks and validate controls.
• Design AI-enabled security workflows to scale testing and threat operations.
• Operationalize threat intelligence to anticipate threats and adjust defenses.
• Partner with external pentesting firms for independent reviews.
• Review new systems and third-party integrations for risk.
