Job summary

Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) invites a seasoned Programmer III for full stack .NET development within the HSCS IT unit. You will design, implement, test, and support applications across .NET Core/MVC, SQL Server, and related frontend tech while mentoring junior developers.

Work in an Agile environment with cross-agency teams, ensuring production readiness and documentation. Initial selection emphasizes eight+ years in enterprise apps, SQL, and MS .NET.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university is required.
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience designing Enterprise Applications and/or Services.
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in SQL.
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience using Microsoft .NET technologies and C#.
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in front-end development (ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET, MVC, Angular, React).

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and modify complex programs and services.
• Prepare documentation and test data; write test plans; debug issues.
• Develop and maintain SQL Server databases; optimize queries.
• Create data mappings and workflows using SSIS for data warehousing.
• Coordinate with analysts and architects to align designs with agency standards.
