Job summary

JBS Dev is seeking a Senior Software Developer with strong .NET/C# experience to design and deliver production-grade software. You will own features from design through deployment, collaborating with product managers, engineers, QA, and other stakeholders in a fully remote environment.

The role emphasizes ownership, problem-solving, and solid OO design, with a focus on C#, web services/APIs, DevExpress controls, and SQL Server. WinForms is a nice-to-have, and greenfield upgrades are welcomed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development using C# and the .NET Framework/.NET.
• Experience developing and maintaining web services and APIs.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience working with DevExpress or similar enterprise UI frameworks.
• Experience supporting production applications, troubleshooting issues, and delivering enhancements.
• Experience with software deployment and release processes.
• Strong understanding of software design principles, object-oriented programming, and application architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fully remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance software applications using C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, QA, and other stakeholders to deliver new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
• Develop and maintain C#-based web services and APIs.
• Write efficient, maintainable, and well-tested code following established development standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects and production issues.
• Participate in application deployments, releases, and ongoing production support.
• Design and optimize SQL Server database objects, queries, and stored procedures as needed.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of application architecture, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to other team members.
• Participate in technical discussions and help drive solutions from requirements through implementation.
