Job summary

goPro Consultancy Group ltd. is seeking a Senior .NET/Azure Engineer for a fully remote role with an international organization based in New York.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience designing and developing applications using ASP.NET and C#, and a strong background in .NET framework, Azure services, and DevOps practices. You will define business requirements, design and develop reports and interfaces, and lead the full software development lifecycle in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in .NET application development and support.
• Experience in .NET framework.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services like Application Insight, App Services, Azure Functions, Docker containers, Kubernetes, Redis Cache, Azure Active Directory, Logic Apps, Azure CDN, Azure Storage or similar tech.
• Experience with DevOps in code repositories, CI/CD pipelines, release artifacts, etc.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, caching, multithreading, messaging and asynchronous communication.
• HTML5/ JavaScript frameworks like Angular JS and related build technologies.
• Strong knowledge of RDBMS, esp. SQL Server.
• RESTful web services development.
• Git or similar source control.
• Ability to provide developer support for Production issues.
• Good communication and teamwork; English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Define business requirements.
• Design and develop custom reports, applications, interfaces.
• Follow SDLC and best practices throughout product development.
• Lead all aspects of the software development lifecycle including requirements, design, coding, testing and deployment.
• Collaborate with business users and IT resources to define and complete work.
• Plan and manage reporting and application development support activities; investigate root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Provide project management to Information Technology initiatives.
