Job summary

Kaztronix LLC seeks a scientifically accomplished Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to advance gene-editing therapeutics. This remote role communicates complex data to clinicians, investigators and researchers, supporting medical affairs strategy and clinical development initiatives.

The candidate combines strong molecular biology or genetics expertise with excellent communication, judgment, and the ability to operate in a lean, fast-paced biotechnology environment within the United States.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific or clinical degree such as PhD, PharmD, MD, or DO.
• Experience in medical affairs, field medical engagement, or translational science.
• Ability to communicate complex science to external experts and internal teams.
• Experience with gene editing, genome engineering, or genetic medicines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain trusted scientific relationships with clinicians, KOLs, investigators, and researchers.
• Serve as primary scientific resource, communicating mechanism of action, data, and potential therapies.
• Conduct high-quality, balanced, non-promotional scientific exchange regarding gene-editing platforms and clinical programs.
• Identify experts to support understanding of treatment landscape, unmet needs, and standards of care.
• Respond to unsolicited medical inquiries with accurate, evidence-based information within regulatory requirements.
• Partner with clinical development, regulatory, and leadership to support clinical programs.
• Facilitate engagement with investigators and research centers participating in studies.
• Gather insights on patient populations, practice patterns, trial feasibility, and barriers to adoption.
• Support investigator meetings, scientific advisory boards, and medical education initiatives.
• Help strengthen clinical site relationships and scientific understanding of therapies.
