You will own end-to-end synthetic data pipelines, data analysis, ablations, and model evaluation to improve training metrics and token efficiency for our language models.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python and building data pipelines.
• Experience with Spark or Beam for data processing.
• Experience with LLMs via projects, open-source, or personal work.
• Familiar with LLM inference frameworks such as vLLM and TensorRT.
• Experience handling large-scale multilingual web/code data.
• Ability to bridge research and engineering to solve data challenges in AI training.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable inference pipelines on large GPU clusters.
• Conduct data ablations to assess data quality and experiment with data mixtures.
• Research and implement synthetic data curation methods using Cohere’s infrastructure.
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers to ensure pipelines meet model needs.
