Job summary

Huntington Ingalls Industries is seeking a highly skilled Military Advisor- Operations to support critical DoD missions. You will lead, advise, and train across multi-domain operations, mentoring senior leaders and coordinating with interagency partners.

The role requires experience in INDOPACOM and CGSC/advanced military education, with readiness to deploy and travel as needed. This is a part-time remote opportunity with episodic CONUS deployments.

Qualifications

• Experience leading military operations and advising senior personnel.
• Proven ability to mentor and instruct military personnel.
• Strong instructional capabilities in military doctrine, strategy and operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide military advisory support to U.S. and allied forces within the INDOPACOM AOR.
• Mentor and advise senior military leaders on command and staff operations.
• Deliver training on military doctrine, strategy, and operations to US and allied personnel.
• Collaborate with interagency and multinational teams to enhance coordination.
• Support development and execution of military exercises and engagements.
• Conduct assessments, briefings and after-action reviews to ensure continuous improvement.
• Maintain situational awareness and provide timely leadership insights.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
