Job summary

Social Discovery Group is seeking an experienced Senior System Administrator to manage our Microsoft infrastructure, AD, DNS, DHCP, PKI, Group Policy, and VDI. You’ll support five data centers, multiple virtualization platforms, storage, and cloud services, collaborating with NOC, InfoSec, DevOps, and L2 teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on administration, incident resolution, and participation in major migration projects including AD domain migrations and VDI replacements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years administering Microsoft and VDI infrastructure.
• Experience in Active Directory migration, domains and forests with minimal downtime.
• Experience administering VDI or terminal access platforms in production.
• Experience with Windows Server upgrades to 2022/2025, WSUS and patching.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day administration of the corporate Microsoft infrastructure - AD, DNS, DHCP, PKI, and Group Policy.
• Administering access platforms and services: Jira/Confluence, 1C/ERP SQL servers, monitoring, backup, Google Workspace, Slack.
• Supporting VDI and terminal server farms, domain services, certificates, and patching.
• Resolving incidents and service requests within SLAs.
• Participating in infrastructure projects: AD migration, VDI platform replacement, load-balancing stack upgrade, end-of-life server upgrades.
