EngineeringJobs.net, Inc. is seeking a senior mechanical engineer to lead design and documentation for building projects in Cincinnati. You will coordinate HVAC, utilities, and related systems with multidisciplinary teams, guiding from concept through construction documents.
The role requires a PE license, 10+ years of hands-on mechanical design experience in an A/E setting, and proficiency in Revit MEP and BIM workflows. Carrier HAP and NIBS Trace 700 experience are preferred.
Lead mechanical and plumbing design and documentation for building projects, from concept through construction documents, coordinating HVAC, utilities, and related systems with multidisciplinary teams. Provide technical and project leadership, mentor staff, support budgets and schedules, and help maintain client relationships and project quality.
Requirements: Requires a mechanical engineering PE license, at least 10 years of hands‑on mechanical design experience in an A/E consulting environment, and demonstrated experience producing building mechanical and plumbing documents. Candidates should be proficient in Revit MEP, understand building codes and BIM workflows, and have experience with HVAC analysis software such as Carrier HAP or NIBS Trace 700.
