Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Master’s degree in taxation or accounting preferred.
• 10+ years of state & local tax experience.
• Big 4 or multinational experience, or state tax authority experience preferred.
• CPA preferred.
• Technical knowledge of state and local tax laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead indirect tax compliance, planning, and audits for US and subsidiaries.
• Manage co-sourced preparation and filing of 1,100+ state and local sales/use tax returns annually.
• Oversee state and local tax audits, inquiries, adjustments, and protests.
• Develop tax planning opportunities to reduce cash taxes and risk.
• Review SAP journal entries and advise on SAP implementations for entities.
