Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Platform Architecture leader to define the strategy and evolution of enterprise load balancing and application delivery across hybrid and cloud environments. This remote role supports the Core Tech Network.

You will establish standards for L4–L7 traffic management, collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams, and drive modernization with GSLB, traffic steering, and cloud integrations (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of network engineering experience with leadership exposure.
• Experience designing mission-critical ADC systems across hybrid/multi-cloud platforms.
• Professional-level ADC and cloud certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, architecture, and evolution of enterprise load balancing and application delivery platforms across hybrid and cloud environments.
• Establish standards for Layer 4–7 traffic management for F5, Citrix ADC, and VMware Avi platforms.
• Partner with infrastructure, security, and application teams to deliver scalable delivery solutions and drive platform modernization.
• Architect and optimize traffic steering, global server load balancing (GSLB), and application acceleration across on-prem and cloud networks (AWS, Azure, GCP).
