Job summary

Tyler Technologies is seeking a Sr. Lead Software Engineer in Plano, TX or telecommuting from anywhere in the United States. You will partner with leadership to shape technical direction, provide strategic input, and guide architectural decisions across multiple teams.

The role requires 4 years of experience in micro-service architecture and modern cloud technologies, with proficiency in .NET/C#, TypeScript, AWS services, and Terraform-based infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in CS, CE, or CIS.
• 4 years of experience in micro-service architecture and AWS.
• Proficiency in .NET/C#, TypeScript, HTML, CSS.
• Experience with REST APIs and OAuth/OIDC.
• Experience with deployment using Argo CD.

Responsibilities

• Partner with team leadership to define short- and long-term technical goals and execution plans.
• Provide technical input for strategic decisions as a trusted advisor.
• Lead and participate in architectural reviews to align solutions across teams.
• Translate requirements into actionable technical plans for teams to execute.
• Design infrastructure solutions including cost estimates and Terraform modules.
• Mentor Lead and Senior Engineers to strengthen technical depth.
