Job summary

Revolutional is seeking a Senior Application Programmer / Java Developer to support a federal client in a dynamic, agile environment. You will develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful services in a CI/CD setup, with AWS, relational and NoSQL databases, and modern web technologies.

The role requires US citizenship with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance. Remote work is available, with 0-20% travel, and a full-time employment commitment.

Qualifications

• US citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of application/Java development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java (8+), Spring Boot, RESTful services.
• Experience with MVC, JDBC, and front-end tech including React, Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, JSON.
• Experience with Node.js, Struts 2, Maven, and JQuery.
• Familiarity with MQ/Kafka; Oracle 19c, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB.

Responsibilities

• Participate in agile methodologies within CI/CD environments.
• Develop, test, and maintain Java applications with Spring Boot and RESTful services.
• Analyze requirements to define business objectives and technical solutions.
• Contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/CloudBees and Git.
• Work with Oracle, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB; support cloud deployments on AWS.
• Collaborate with teams to implement security and performance best practices.
• Provide occasional Help Desk support for end-users.
