Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a finance professional to support investment accounting and controllership, including GAAP and statutory reporting, in a remote US setting. The role collaborates with internal investments and treasury teams, plus custodians and asset managers, to ensure accurate financials and strong controls.

You will prepare reconciliations, journal entries, and disclosures, coordinating with auditors and regulators while delivering timely financials to senior GE Aerospace leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• 2–3 years' accounting experience.
• Financial services industry and investments experience.
• Experience with custodian banks or treasury functions.
• Proficient use of MS Office and financial systems.
• Strong problem identification and resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for investment accounting and reporting.
• Maintain tri-party reconciliations of investment positions.
• Review and clear open investment payables, receivables, and suspense.
• Collaborate with investments and treasury teams.
• Communicate with third party asset managers, custodians, and accounting providers.
• Prepare GAAP and statutory financials and disclosures.
• Record manual journal entries.
• Prepare financials and disclosures for regulators.
• Communicate portfolio information to GE Aerospace senior management.
• Fulfill external and internal audit requests.
