Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a Senior Industrial Engineering Leader to drive Lean transformation across the Flight Deck and IE groups, focusing on standard work, layout and process improvement to optimize material flow and asset utilization.

The role requires up to 60% travel and leadership of cross-functional teams to deliver continuous improvement initiatives across machining lines and shop floor operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering (preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years experience facilitating lean transformations in manufacturing and supply chain operations
  • Willing to travel up to 60% of the time

Responsibilities

  • Develop advanced competency in Industrial Engineering methods and Lean tools and coach associates in Lean (Flight Deck) principles
  • Partner and execute Capacity Utilization processes with Operations, Flight Deck and IE Leaders
  • Improve workflow by studying process flow and developing new procedures
  • Layout and workstation planning
  • Design, develop and deploy manufacturing systems with emphasis on machining lines and capacity balancing
  • Lead functional teams or projects with minimal resources and communicate complex concepts
