Job summary

Seakeeper seeks a Senior Hardware Systems Engineer to lead design and integration of embedded hardware and motor powertrains for vessel stabilization systems. You will collaborate with electronics and controls teams, gather requirements, and ensure high-quality, certified products.

You will mentor junior engineers, drive documentation, and communicate risks based on data. Expect a dynamic, fast-paced environment with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years validating, verifying and integrating electrical systems for commercial products.
• 5+ years supporting lifecycle and development of products into production.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration of custom embedded hardware and power electronics.
• Gather and formalize requirements where needed.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Produce documentation including specs, test plans and certification.
• Provide technical risk analysis and ensure safety standards are met.
