Job summary

LocalStack is hiring to scale the GCP emulator MVP into a GA product with full roadmap ownership. You will operate the agentic production line for the GCP product, instrument adoption, and drive evidence-based changes by connecting with users.

Collaborate with GTM to integrate the emulator into a broader cloud infra suite including AWS, Snowflake, Azure, and digital twins. The role requires deep GCP knowledge, strong systems design, and hands-on experience with containerization and tooling.

Qualifications

• 7+ years professional software engineering or sales/solutions engineering in GCP context.
• In depth knowledge of GCP and understanding of how GCP is used.
• High systems level fluency in cloud emulation: APIs, auth, resource models, distributed systems; strong design thinking.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Rust or similar language.
• Experience with Claude/Gemini/Codex class tooling to ship solutions.
• Deep knowledge in containerization and distribution mechanics: Docker, Kubernetes; cross-platform builds; telemetry instrumentation.
• Product-minded in a VC-backed devtooling or cloud infra context.

Responsibilities

• Scale MVP of the GCP emulator into a GA product with full roadmap ownership.
• Operate the agentic production line for the GCP product.
• Instrument, measure and iterate on adoption with direct user feedback and data-driven changes.
• Collaborate with GTM to integrate GCP emulator into a wider product suite (AWS, Snowflake, Azure, digital twins).
